Our Company
SR Structures specialises in custom yacht construction and the processing of advanced composite materials. Through meticulous design, precision manufacturing and exceptional craftsmanship, we create yachts and composite structures engineered for enduring quality and extreme performance in the toughest environments. Founded in 2023, we are a young company built on decades of experience in elite boatbuilding, global race campaigns and advanced composite engineering. Our team’s industry know-how and proven reputation form the foundation of everything we deliver.
Facilities
SR Structures operates from an 8,500 sqft advanced composite facility in Lymington, purpose-built to support high-performance yacht construction and structural advanced composite manufacturing.
Clean Rooms
At the heart of the workshop is a large climate controlled composite cleanroom/oven, fully adjustable in length from 24m to 12m, with a width of 8.3m and height of 4m. Heated by 6 high-output heater linked to a Heat Manager system PLC, capable of reaching 110°C, this space is engineered for full-scale pre-preg hulls, decks and major structural components, delivering tightly controlled temperature throughout the cure cycle. In addition, the manager system tracks and records vacuum pressures.
Supporting this are three dedicated climate controlled cleanroom/ovens, each equipped with independent heater systems capable of reaching 120°C. All rooms have dedicated composite vacuum tables:

MACHINE SHOP
A separate, fully extracted machine shop isolates dust and contaminants from composite production areas, ensuring superior surface quality and cleanroom integrity.
CORE STORE
The facility also includes a dedicated climate controlled store for dry fibre, foam core and honeycomb Nomex, maintaining stable conditions and correct handling practices. Prepreg materials are held in dedicated freezers to maintain resin stability and guarantee full shelf-life integrity.
OPERATIONS
For handling and vessel operations, SR Structures is equipped with a 10tonne double hook gantry crane within the main workshop and an onsite 50-tonne crane capable of lifting, moving and launching yachts up to 23m (75 ft) in length and 6m (20 ft) in beam, enabling seamless workflow from construction to outfitting and launch preparation.
